Growing Mindfully combines mindfulness with psychology in order to help develop self-awareness while better understanding of ourselves and others. Courses incorporate concepts from neuroscience, psychology, and human development, which can be adapted to a wide range of audiences.

Growing Mindfully for Families
In this course, children and families will learn how to incorporate mindfulness into their daily lives through age-appropriate activities. Learning goals include understanding how mindfulness helps improve attention and focus, using mindfulness to reduce stress, and learning about emotional regulation. The overall goal is to learn how to use awareness to pause before automatically reacting to situations.
Growing Mindfully for Children
Divided into two different courses, Mindfulness for Children offers age-appropriate activities for children to learn about mindfulness. Adapted from the Mindful Schools curriculum, this course provides children with hands on ways to learn about the brain, mindful movement, and breathing activities to help in self regulation and calming behavior.
Growing Mindfully for Teens (Age 13 & up)
This course incorporates techniques from Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction (MBSR) to help teens manage stress and cultivate greater self awareness to help them regulate their emotional responses.
Independent Consultation & Informational Presentations
I can provide informational presentations on topics related to mindfulness such as Mindfulness and Stress, How Meditation Impacts the Brain, and Contemplative Practices. I also offer independent support for families looking to build a mindfulness practice together.
Mindfulness in Schools
In addition to my independent work with Growing Mindfully, I am part of a wonderful organization called Mindfulness First that brings mindfulness to schools throughout Central Arizona.
